Putting TGIF talk groups on an Anytone 878
« on: January 05, 2022, 10:37:32 am »
I have an Anytone 878 that works great with Brandmeister talk groups. I recently set my Openspot 2 to profile 1 Brandmeister and Profile 3 to TGIF. Now can I get of suggestions on popular TGIF Talk Groups and how to differentiate them on the Anytone from BM or will that be taken care of when I switch profiles? Help ideas appreciated.

I have my hotspot set up to run BM, DMR+, YSF and TGIF with my 878 and 578.  I create a zone for each network, one for BM, one for DMR, one for YSF and one for TGIF.  Then I put each talkgroup/reflector/room in each applicable zone.  The zone name shows up on the radio screen so I know which network I'm on that way.
