Hi Joe,

I did, of course, follow your advice and changed the address to “tgif.network,” but the problem persists.
In the DMR Gateway MMDVM startup log, we can see disconnections approximately every 2 minutes.
In the trace of my first message, we can see that the connection is kept alive by exchanging “pings” to which the server must respond with “pongs.” The problem is that after a few exchanges, the server no longer responds to the “pings.” When the timeout expires, the gateway disconnects and attempts to reconnect, etc.

Hi Jeff,

I'd definitely suggest that you change prime.tgif.network to tgif.network in the address line.

The prime designation was used during initial testing of the "new" server to differentiate it from the "old" server.

Although we arranged for "prime" to forward exclusively to the current server, some of that functionality may be...wearing off...in places with recent back end code changes.

Don't know if that has anything to do with what you're experiencing, but it wouldn't be the worst place to start with troubleshooting.

1/- I used TGIF sporadically for a long time and everything worked fine. When I wanted to use it again, the problem arose

2/- The username and password, which have never changed, are most certainly still valid since the MMDVM log shows that the connection is established:

Hi Jeff,

A few questions.  First, is this a new attempt at connecting or an established connection that just began to have this problem with?

Second, have you verified that your TGIF credentials (particularly, the secure password) is entered properly with no typos?

Third, are you connecting using the IP address for the TGIF network or https://tgif.network/ ? You might want to see if changing that has any effect.

Fourth, it might just be a temporary network glitch or server issue.  Is it a consistent error or a constant one?

The DMR F5ZJH repeater is unable to establish a stable connection with TGIF. After a few seconds, TGIF no longer responds to “PING.”
I don't see which setting I could adjust. What are your thoughts?
