Title: DIY DMR server
Post by: N1KK on October 25, 2019, 09:58:50 am
Would there be any existing software to work on either a Windows PC or Raspberry PI to create
a very basic single talkgroup server that would work with a hotspot?
Something to work similar to zello except with the use of a DMR radio and MMDVM hotspot
instead of cell phone.

Fascinated with the how all this works.

Thanks,
Ken

TGIF started its solo start up on a Raspberry PI
Mitch and Ty set it up.

then moved to a Big server and Ty Rewrote the whole thing, to be what it is today

Would you know of any existing sites that talk about how to do this in a real basic manner, no special features
just single talk group, load software make a few configurations and talk?
I know Ty is a busy guy. I have been trying to reach him for weeks on his WizNet app
without luck so he might be to busy to answer my questions.

Not finding much out there other than full blown server info.
