Post by: VE3RD on June 09, 2020, 04:39:42 pm
Android App - Hotspot

This app will connect to a hotspot, selected from a list and display the current call, last caller and list a few previous callers. Current caller shows name call, tg,ts,city,state/prov and country. Last heard includes duration of call, ts ber and packet loss. You can view/set mode hang values, On Last head page you can search for a call and show the last few transmissions from that call.
The main monitor screen shows what server you are connected to.

The MODE screen is still under construction but will show/set your RF Frequency and offsets. Modes not yet functional

DMRGateway screen current display only

WIFI Screen (display only)shows link Frequency, ESSID, Bit Rate, Link Quality,Signal Level.

You can change the WIFI power level. The default is 31 dBm(1 Watt) Whether this actually has any effect is still under test)

Now in Open Beta. If you want to have a look and or play with it

The app should load the scripts int pi-star at   /home/pi-star/SmartPhone

If it does not load the Scripts, Instructions on how to manually load them can be found at the web site listed above

This is still a BETA and as such not all the bells and whistles are fully working
