Yesterday about 8pm est all 4 of my mmdvm devices ( two little regular ones and two duplex ones) stopped working. At the same time a friend in another state had the same issue. After hours of trial and error I narrowed the problem down to DMR Gateway not working. Ive learned a little about an update but I cant get any of them to work unless I choose only one master. Now people are calling and asking if my reflector is down, which it is not. Did I miss something? Has mmdvm changed forever, or can we just reinstall pistar and be done?
Im reading up on it now... but if anyone can point me in the right direction to make this smoother I would appreciated it

Are you using Phil's modified gateway or the stock one with Pi-Star?
If the former, then Phil or I can give you a few pointers. If the latter, then simply doing a pistar-update should get things working again.

Try running the following
cd ./DMRGateway-4
sudo git pull
./binupdate.sh
Say NO to the modification of /etc/dmrgateway
I have modified the ./binupdate.sh script to set Type=Direct in /etc/mmdvmhost [DMR Network]
This should restart your DMRGateway

Update upgrade didn't solve,
cd ./DMRGateway-4
Directory not found
Type is direct (I assume after update)

and fix it...

I installed dmrg4 .... Configured dmrgw .... Nope... It's broke for sure.. .. I'll have to look when I get home.... Echo link until then
