Title: Connecting to TGIF with a C-Bridge
Post by: n0vzc on April 19, 2019, 10:53:52 am
Hello,
Is it okay for me to connect several of the talkgroups on TGIF to my c-bridge?  If so, can TGIF do a CC-LINK?  If not I can run the HBLINK and DMRLINK to do the bridging process.

Thanks,
Mike (N0VZC)

as long as you are not bridging (a TG to another TG) that you don't (own or run) or have permission from all of the TG owner's involved
ie. 31665 bridged to tac-101 and "Texas Happy Hour" onto one repeater channel

I don't know this one
perhaps Robert, Ty etc could answer this

We don't support CC links yet.  The best way right now is to use IPSC_Bridge / HB_Bridge and you can map one talkgroup to each timeslot at a time.

Does anyone have any documentation for setting up a Motorola XPR8400 connected to TGIF using IPSC_Bridge / HB_Bridge?

Thanks in advance!

Hello W4EDP,
I use HBLink to bridge TGIF talkgroups to my c-bridge so I can link my repeaters to it.  If you would like, I could possibly do that for you.  You would have to connect to one of my C-Bridges and I would bridge your TGIF Talkgroups you want for you.  I have not tried IPSC_Bridge before.

Thanks,

N0VC (Mike)
