Wanted: Beta Testers for the NEW Pi-Star DMRGateway
« on: December 15, 2018, 09:55:52 am »
BETA Mode
I have been working on a new DMR Gateway with a feature to allow switching networks thru your radio. You will need to add the control TG's to your radio for each of the Networks listed below that you wish to operate on.

1) 90001 - Brandmeister
2) 90002 - DMR Plus
3) 90003 - HBLink / DMR2YSF / DMR2NXDN   (untested at this time)
4) 90004 - TGIF_Network
5) 90005 - Spare

6) 90000 - XLX Network (untested)

You install this beta software at your own risk!

Information on installation can be found at  http://dmr.pgtto.com/the-new-dmrgateway-2018/

Phil, on the pi-star ssh portion and after sudo in do you enter each line of your code line for line or Copy & Paste?

type as follows
ls -al install.sh

make sure the file attributes are   -rwxr-xr-x

if you don't get these attributes re-run chmod command as follows
sudo chmod +x install.sh

if you do have the attributes correct and it still does not run try

sudo sh ./install.sh

Ok I got it installed , do you have to run all the options or just 1 and 2?

Then when you say any master server you mean like BM 3101?

I setup the code plug then I would key up on the 90004 then switch to a tgif talk group?

Question in building out the codeplug for this, is the call to the Network Switch a private or group call?  For the GD-77 this makes a difference.
