i think i did the wiki page thing wrong....can anyone help me with it....point me in the right direction to get a TG ?

Hi Mario,

I think you have the procedure for requesting a talkgroup a bit...backwards.  Let me try to clarify it a bit for you.

First, you choose a name for the TG.  You did that in your initial post: SAT-TRAC

Then (and this is the part you missed) you must choose an UNUSED TGIF talkgroup NUMBER for your new talkgroup.

Finally, once you are assigned your talkgroup by an admin and they notify you that it's live, THEN you go and fill out the WIKI page for it.

You may have jumped the gun and "put the cart before the horse" by creating the WIKI page before an admin could set up your talkgroup (because you didn't select a number so they could do it!).

So: Pick an unused Talkgroup number, wait to be notified that it's been assigned, and then (re)do the WIKI page for it.  QSL?
