Is anyone else have a problem with the wires x portion of this radio and holding its 5 memory channels, I can get them entered but as soon as I shut the radio off they go away?

If it is anything like the FT1D you have to connect to the channel you want to save then a menu item will save it to a chosen memory location.
Might be the same or close to it.

I seem to recall this question in one of the FB groups, but can't seem to find it. My recollection is that the only items that will store there permanently are actual Wires-X nodes. FCS/YSF disappear when the radio is shut down. I have tested that using my hotspot (which connects to YSF & FCS nodes). They won't save. However, when I connect via my HRI-200 to an honest-to-god Wires-X node, those will save and remain in the memory. So, the question is, how are you connecting? Via YSF/FCS or via an actual Wires-X node?
