Issues Making Contacts on some TGs

My Equipment is MMDVM Pi-Star 4.1.4 and Anytone D868UV,

I believe I have everything set correctly as the MMDVM Dashboard shows I am connected to the TGIF Network, and all indicators are green.  I can't get the Parrot to repeat my audio. I can't seem to get my audio to be heard on some talkgroups, but my transmissions show up in the "Last Heard" list.

Additionally, in Last Heard, my callsign has a gray background and most others have a blue background.  I am not sure what that means.

I am new to DMR, and I appreciate anyone who can help!

As a follow-up, Vic, VE3JAR, replied to me on email and helped me figure out the issue.

If the background on your call is gray, it means that you are an unverified user.  To fix that, you need to register on the TGIF network, and put your hotspot security key (found under your call, self care heading) in your hotspot as the password.  Reboot your hotspot, and your background should be blue.

The other issue I mentioned in the post, not being heard on some TGs, it appears that is coming from the friend's radio I was testing with.  He has an RFinder radio, which apparently has some issues communicating on the TGIF network.
